Baking soda is apparently good to remove unwanted smells - you use it dry and it supposedly draws the smell out?!
If you can't get rid of it just get some lavender air freshener.

It won't help, but it will at least smell of authentic old people then.
Would sealing them with a good floor varnish work ?
Not saying I've tried it , just a thought.
Or you could try drinking less ?

thanks guys!!!
Try this

It really works. But wet the area first and use it from a spray container. Brilliant for all sorts of spills and stains. You might need several treatments. However if the boards have been soaked you might have to replace them. We had to do this on a small section of floor.
