Please, can anyone tell me when it's the right time to split primrose clumps? I did it last year and it worked really well, but I can't remember when I did it!

As far as I know, the recommended time is in the autumn.

Split them after flowering and cut back to half leaf, keep well watered.

I've split them now after the flowers died down. They seem very happy in their new places.
