You have two jugs filled with water. How could you put all this water into a barrel, and still tell which water came from which jug. (You can't use the jugs or any dividers)

can't you just put a drop of food colouring into one jug first - or is that too simple?
fill one jug with ice cubes?
surely Christiana the water would just merge in the barrell.
So why not freeze one of the jugs then there will be a block of ice and water
How do you get a block of ice into a barrel?
In the top..... der....
didn't state there was a lid on the barrel
put food colouring in one freeze both jugs and put in barrel you'll have two blocks of ice that you can tell apart
I wouldn't bother to do it in the first place. Why would I care?
Can't you just leave the water in the jugs and stand the two jugs as they are at the bottom of the barrel. Presumably the barrel is empty?
