I planted two pyracanthas late last spring. They have been well watered and look healthy. However they have both failed to flower this spring. Is this normal for a newly planted pyracantha?

You expect too much for a new plant, after all you wouldn`t expect a new born baby to give birth in it`s first year would you? Have patience sonofmarery and look forward to the years ahead and great will be your reward. All this rain we`er having will help it along for next year.
Yes. Do not worry about you "firethorns" they will get more vigorous in a couple of years!!
I have three and they are brilliant and are just 4 years (ish) old.
