When do i pick my borlotto beans??

Hi, i have been growing my dwarf borlotto beans with good success. They all have bean on ranging in length from baby plain green ones 2cm long, to large ones about15cm long and highly coloured with red stripes.
How do i know when to pick them though? Are the big ones ready now?
Any hints would be useful!
