how to get grass to grow under tree

Does anyone know if its possible to get grass to grow under the shaded area of a tree. The tree is a conker tree.

Hia Kimbo. You can get grass seed specifically for shady areas, but the problem with the area beneath a tree is that not only does it get little light, but it gets little moisture too. The tree also drains any goodness in the soil making it a rather unattractive for most plants to grow.
