I have had my Pachyra in a sunny room for about 8 months and it has been thriving until recently! for about the last 3 months its been gradually losing all its leaves. Is it needing repotting? If so, what compost do i put into the new, bigger, pot? Does it need well draining soil, or moisture retaining? Im confused by the vast range of compost there is out there! Please help me save my lovely plant!

these need lots of water and lots of light. It could need re-potting or just need lots more water. In their native habitat they are marginal aquatic plants. Also a regular feed will help them.
