I have a palm plant inside my home. Unfortunately, stems keep dying, one by one, and it is getting thinner and thinner. What should I do?

It does depend on what sort of palm it is. On most it is natural for the lowest leaves to go brown and drop. If others are doing it as well it could well be a sign of overwatering or being in too sunny a position. They might look like they enjoy full sun but actually prefer partial shade. They also object to cold draughts.
