Morning janbee !

Its not often I am second on here. I have a train to catch up to Town at 05:58 this morning !

Nieces wedding went very well yesterday, and the much-feared marquee was actually really nice...warm and snug with clear plastic walls with a good view of the adjacent beach. The weather was good as well...dry, and no wind, and not cold. Food was marvelous ! Smoked duck for starters and pot roast beef for the main, so Uncle Michael was very pleased about that !

Must go...train to catch !

It was another night of rains and winds and there are still some eejits letting off fire works. After the explosions in Paris, the firework explosions seemed waaaay too close and frightening.

The explosions and crackling bangs were quite chilling to hear. As you say Boaty, quite crass and very thoughtless.

It's to be a dry morning , albeit very gusty ,here in Brighton-sur-merde so at least I'll be able to get out and about for a while . Been trapped indoors for way too long lately. Got cabin fever now.

I lied ! I just looked out and it's raining again now.

I like Stroud. It beats the living daylights out of Brighton any day.

That's true enough now tinks. But it's too cramped, they've put too much into too small a space. It's at the heart of five valleys, so some of the streets are rather steep. I have to say I've been to worse places! But it's a town, anything bigger that a small village i ain't interested. I live on the edge of a large village, at the top of a hill, so it's lovely! :o}
