Some time ago I got some very helpful replies re the leggy rose

I did as suggested and cut it back, re potted it and moved it to a sunny location
This summer it grew to about 18" and had a splendid burst of
lovely white flowers. Many thanks to everyone :-)

Now Autumn is coming and the flowers have gone should I do anything
like hack it back again or just leave it alone ?

Thanks

Once it's dormant, trim off any dead wood. In spring, marchish, as it begins to shoot, you can tidy it up. Take off any leggy bits and anything that spoils the shape.
