Having taken on board your suggestions in an earlier post, do I need to feed my new bushes(they are quite a good size and very healthy) but I always enter 5 different herbs in our local flower show in June and want them to be near perfect by then. Thanks again for any advice.

no, rosemary and thyme like poor soil.
for best aroma starve them for best appearance just give a bit of blood fish and bone in the spring but you only need about half the recommended amount
My rosemary grows in the chippings and against a wall, my thyme grows in the cracks in the stones along the house. They are very healthy plants, the thyme sows itself wherever. Make sure they have plenty of sun and dry conditions. These are mediteranean plants.
