Climbers for poor, sandy soil

Does anyone on here have any suggestions for climbers for very poor, sandy soil? I have 'googled' but there are only a few suggestions and I have to search through loads of sites.

perennials/semi hardy plants if you add some organic matter (a growbag is cheap and can improve a decent area) Honeysuckle, silver stemmed rubus, eccremocarpus, ivies, if you can provide shade for the roots clematis will be ok especially if they get a nice organic mulch every year
