thread roots in soil

I am trying to clear an area of my garden and start again, but the soil is absolutely full of these thin clumps of roots, all over the place, will it do harm to leave them in,after taking out what I can, of course. Will it be o.k. to plant other flowers in the same place. TIA.

I don't really know Trimeresuras, I took a lot of those big white daisies out which spread all over the place, and the tall campanula, also welsh poppies but not much else.

Just dig it all over and mash up the roots! they will rot into the soil and give it more goodness!

Hire a lance burner and give the soil a good bit of heat which will kill most everything.
