Has anyone here grown their own mushrooms from a kit?

Are the kits worth buying or maybe it's better to just buy spores and use a pot? How easy it and how often does a crop grow? I'm thinking of getting a kit and trying this so any tips or advice is appreciated. Thanks. (I'm talking about non hallucinogenic variety of course)
prev I was told that boiling poisonous rhubarb leaves creates a natural weed killer .. Is this true ?

the white button ones are the best and if you follow the instructions correctly you should get 2 or 3 croppings from the box. You may get more if the conditions are good and you are thorough when re-starting it. I would say you get about as many for your money as if you bought them in the supermarket but you have the fun of growing them.

I tried twice with two diferent kits neither worked :( I may try again with just the spores
