Pls be aware that most of uk will have a frost tonight - if you have any tender plants outside then cover or bring them inside

Really! Thanks Tony. I planted sweet peas out on Sunday & two hanging baskets. Now what do I have to cover them up? Grrr!
I've just been out and shut the polytunnel - I've a few outside but I think they are hardened off enough now. I haven't covered the bloody spuds and beans though so I might be a bit upset tomorrow!!!!!

Nowhere to put them, nothing to cover them with - if they're dead in the morning they can be replaced.
Going out in the dark now with my top of the range frost cover .. bin bags .. Grrr!

Market Trader friend of mine used to selling bedding plants twice
Minimum 5c overnight in North Kent according to BBC, does that mean there wont be a frost here? What does the temp have to drop to for a frost?
3c here and predicted overnight frost.
