We have a very thriving Eucalpytus tree which was pruned early this year. anow it shows no sign of regrowth with all the foliage looking lifeless. IS THIS A RESULT OF THE COLD WEATHER WE HAD PREVIOUSLY OR SOMETHING ELSE.

scrape off a little bark near the base, if its green underneath the tree will probably regrow, if it isn't its axe time
It looks like the same thing's happening to my eucalyptus & I'm putting it down the extreme weather we had. I'll be sorry to lose it, it's nice to see a tall tree with leaves in the winter but I must admit it's cost me a fortune in professional pruning over the years. I think the original 'twig' only cost about £3!
I tend to wish this was mine, what started as nice small tree about 10 feet high is now a huge thing worthy of a wood and we are having to pay a professional to come and prune it before it envelops the house.
