Acrylic paints are water-based products with additives/inhibitors according to application. eg Masonry paint is acrylic.
Don't use acylic/water based products designed for interior use on exterior walls.

The short answer is yes. BUT, make sure you buy the proper stuff, das someone else has said don't use interior paint on exterior walls!
