I have just bought a new laptop and have been advised to copy all my computer details and technical info. I have bought the device recommended, but I wondered how many computer details you can get on each device or is it better to get a device for each computer? Thank for you help.

As we have no idea what device you bought - how do you expect anyone to advise you?

Device? Which device?

Just use the Files and Settings transfer wizard to a big pen drive. It will save just about anything you want, including docs, themes, internet settings .. etc. In fact is is custom settings if you wish. Files are compressed. You then import onto new PC.
