I am decorating a bedroom at the moment & have a couple of problems! 1) Ceiling: I have taken the paper off the ceiling, as it was past its best. The ceiling is ok apart from a few minor cracks here & there which I have made good. . I rubbed the ceiling down after removing the paper & have been left with areas of the ceiling where the emulsion has come off completely. I want to apply a product to the ceiling to smooth it out before I emulsion it. Will the product -think there are a number on the market-pull the remaining emulsion off the ceiling? 2) Emulsion on fireplace wall is a bit flakey, though I have rubbed it down. Is it best to stabilse it before I paint it? What is the best product for this? Many Thanks Zubar.
