what is the best way to take cuttings from fuschias please?

Best to wait until the spring now
take cuttings just below a leaf joint. Length about one and half inch. root in ordinary compost, or pearlite. ry to keep moist and not in direct sunlight

I will be taking mine this weekend. I take the green part and not a woody part just below a leaf joint, strip off the leaves apart from the top two, stick in some water until they root and then pot up.
Use the same method and put the cut ends in 'hormone rooting powder' before putting in a small pot of 'cutting compost'.
