my oven door has come apart. to repair this i need an adesive that is both heat resistant and plyable. the adesive used prior to this had the appearance of bath sealant.

There is a silicone that is resistant to heat as high as 300 degrees Celsius, but it is usually red in colour. Probably the best option is to replace the door with a genuine replacement.

thanks for that karl i dont know if its relevent but the area that requires the adesive are two metal brackets that are attached to the inner are of the door that suports the outer frame.
I had a similar problem to this (is it a Parkinson Cowan?). I tried to obtain adhesive but to no avail. I then tried to get a replacement door on EBay again without success. If you have insurance cover on your cooker put in a claim. Otherwise it's probably time for a new cooker I'm afraid.
