Doe anyone know what height a handrail/bannister should be in a normal house hold.Its going to go around /up a stairwell ?

for a private dwelling its 900mm minimum
for public use its 1100mm minimum
It is also a Building Regulations requirement that no openings in any balustrading should allow the passage of a 100mm sphere.
