I am having a new bathroom installed which includes a back to wall toilet, which will be fitted to a WC unit. The problem starts because we are moving the WC further from the soil stack, and the plumber we are using states we will now be required to put the WC on a plinth to create a slope to soil stack? We dont have the room for this. We could use a pump?but these are supposed to be horrendous!(and expensive). Could we lower the soil pipe? Any ideas?
