New Style Shower Head

Has anyone got one of these? Buying a new mixer taps complete with shower hose/head for new bathroom. Seen lovely taps but the shower head is like a chrome tube about 7" long with holes in the end but with no 'flower type' head - just tubular. I know that sounds weird but if you've got one you'll know what I mean. Would like to buy but worried that the jet pressure may not be as strong as a traditional shower heads (i'm worried it will be weak and trickly) can anyone advise ? We do have a strong pressure at our house by the way. Thanks in anticipation.
