My garage door, (Henderson, steel, single up&over, 15+ years old, spring above door not at sides), has started to catch against side of the frame when opening or closing, making it very difficult to open/close. It's catching at bottom left + top right but has gaps at top left + bottom right. Suggestions to adjust etc, please. Ta.

First thing to do is to check if either of the two rollers have come loose. They are positioned about half way down each side of the door.If they have you need to refix them.If they are ok check the wire lift they may have become stretched, These can be replaced if neccessary.Always lock the spring when carrying out repairs or you might lose the tension ,Then its a new door! You could check the top brackets to see if they are loose and tighten them if they are.

TO LOCK THE SPRING EASE THE TENSION WITH A SPANNER AND PUSH A THICK NAIL OR BOLT INTO THE HOLE ,IT NEEDS TO BE STRONG ENOUGH TO HOLD THE TENSION.YOU'LL FIND THIS LARGE NUT LIKE DEVICE AT ONE END OF THE SPRING.

GOOD LUCK and HAPPY NEW YEAR

Thanks Mr Bear.
Being a carpenter I thought it may be that fact that this is cold damp weather and the wooden frame has swollen.
