Nephology is the study of clouds - coming from the Greek nephos.

I suppose if it had been derived from latin, we'd have nimbology or something!

brachiopod I couldn't for the life of me think of the word! As I was typing "weather-oriented things" I knew there was a better way of putting it, but as usual the mind went blank at the crucial point. :-)
