For some strange reason I seem to have about 3 packets of dessicated coconut, all open and containing various amounts. Also have a few packets of lasagne strips of varying quantities.

I have two jars of dried Parsley, and three jars of Italian herbs, two bags of fusilli pasta.

My late mother-in-law used to put leftover coffee from breakfast into the mushroom sauce, because it gave it a nice colour! It was years before we saw her do it - mind you, it tasted great.
I read in today's papers that most people these days only use three of the herbs and spices in their spice racks because they don't know what to do with the others - one of them was bay leaves, I can't remember what the others were, anybody see it? The rest go all grey in their pots then they get thrown away. I know that feeling...!
