Legendary Sword

I am an avid player of video games, and one of the series of games I play quite a lot is the Castlevania series. One of the swords used in a couple of these games is known as the 'Claihm Solais' which seems to emit light. Is there any legend behind this blade?

I would think it should be Claimh Solais, though the Gaelic for sword is usually spelled 'claidheamh', as in claidheamh mor, Anglicized as claymore. I think it will be a name made up for the game.

Indeed you're right it is spelt 'Claimh Solais'.
