Thanks. The document says there are numerous theories about the name's origin, but doesn't say what they are.

Charles Dickens' tale of the five sisters was written long after the window was made and is fictional.

The window was completed in 1260. Dickens was born in 1812.
Did you not read the section entitled The Five Cistercians?
