Can you clean scuff marks off vinyl tiles? Our floor will be replaced at some point but needs a good clean in the meantime. The scuffs resist a good mopping so far!

I've used nail polish remover in the past, best to patch test in a non-obvious area first though.

Hoorah! It worked! Many many thanks. I'll be spending tomorrow mopping the floor with nail varnish remover as I have lots of very clean patches all over the floor now! I got a bit over-eager and decided the marks couldn't get any worse!
