April 23rd 1564. Although he spelt his name a few different ways we now usually spell it Shakespeare.
spudqueen did u used to work for the codebreakers? lol
Serious question - just HOW do you post a question like that?
it is to do with the err, oh yes, the emocions downloaded, i am sure that's it, we had this with slowjo originally back in the autumn, it can be cleared up by deleting certain downloaded stuff. I, quite technical for an old bird aren't I? lol
all those colour numbers suggest maybe YK was using different colours in the question? Or the system thought he was, even if he wasn't. Works better in answers, anyway.

I believe some posts can end up like this using Firefox.

I use firefox Cetti and mine never look like that
It was similar kind of post a few months ago don1 that said Firefox was the cause of the gobbledegook.
Don't like to be a pedant, spudqueen, but April 23 is, I believe, accepted as the likely date of Shakespeare's birth on the grounds that his baptism is recorded as April 26 1564 There is no record of the actual date of his birth, but in accordance with common practice of the time 3 days from birth to baptism would be about right. As he died on April 23 1616, it brings a nice circularity to his life; though dying, it has to be said, is not exactly the best way to celebrate your 52nd birthday!
