Could you be a bit more specific please, jonathannewb? What exactly do you want to know? It's a very big subject, eg an amoeba moves by extending part of its cell wall and then flowing into it, or snakes "walk" on their ribs, or molecules in muscle work by a kind of ratchet action to bring bones closer together and move a limb, etc etc - do you have any particular animal or movement in mind?
