Living in Leeds and aslo taking part in the same Quiz as binxter, I visited the Royal Armouries here. The result is that the Questionsetter has a problem..there are at least 5 recorded cases of special, etched armour being made for Henry. The first was a gift from the Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian and was made by Konrad Seusenhofer. Henry then set up his own his own armoury, the Greenwich Workshop, and one of the first suits produced was the famous Silver and Engraved Armour by Martin van Royne and decorated by Paul van Vrelant. Then there is the Grenhouilac Armour with etching by either Giovanni da Maianno or Hans Holbein The Younger and two later examples, now accommodating Henrys increased girth, which were almost certainly decorated by Holbein. So, you pays your money and takes your choice!!
