If I was going to put a fuse box in a garage.....and had the whole of the flipping garage to put it in the last place would be....
....half way down the far side wall that the car has to inch up to so the driver can get out the other side!
And why do some light bulbs blow the fuses...and others just die silently with no fuss?
Little moan over......☺

So I opened the garage....got the car out....and climbed the ladder....Why are fuse boxes so high up and in daft places? If it was half way up the end wall off the utility room it would be a matter of seconds to flick it....x

Fuse boxes or 'consumer units' to give them the correct name ( they don't have fuses any more) need to be high enough up so that small children can't reach them. But my grandkids have now learned to climb on top of the freezer so that they can turn off the switches in the consumer unit and laugh as grandad rushes around thinking there has been a power failure.
