The reason colonists were alarmed was that Britain signed agreements with the Native Americans(Red Indians) and stuck to them.
This didn't suit a gang of land-grabbers led by a land agent(crook) by the name of George Washington.
So george promised hundreds of thousands of acres of Indian Land to any crooks who would join him.
Obviously this shameful episode had to be covered up. Hence, they fill your head with nonsense about 'no taxation without representation'.
You can copy this and hand it in to your teacher, if you like.
