Surely she's a princess if she's married to a prince.
the last line in the story says this:

Although Catherine uses the title Duchess of Cambridge, bestowed upon her by the Queen, she is also a princess by marriage and can be called Princess William of Wales.
Question Author
thanks
Her Royal Highness The Princess William, Duchess of Cambridge, Countess of Strathearn and Lady Carrickfergus.
I "think" she is entitled to the title as the wife of a Prince. BUT she would be Princess William of Wales - a bit like Princess Michael of Kent.
Has she ever had a job?
Career

In November 2006, Middleton accepted a position as an accessory buyer with the clothing chain Jigsaw.
Hardly takes a degree to do that job!
Job Centres are full of people with degrees.
>Hardly takes a degree to do that job!

I think you'd need to see the job description and person spec.

A buying role can involve a lot more than just picking what looks nice or picking a few items of a wholesaler's shelf. It can involve things such as inviting tenders, due diligence, arranging analysis of materials used in the products, negotiating contractual terms and prices, etc
just out of interest when did the dad start being able to fill in the birth certificate??
I think the Registrar filled out the Certificate and the Duke of Cambridge just signed it Bednobs.
housewife and mother, surely?
"New royal parents Prince William and Kate Middleton have filled in the birth certificate of their son Prince George, prompting the question: is Kate actually a Princess?

Her husband is certainly sure she is. Prince William has put Catherine's occupation on the document as "Princess of the United Kingdom".
certainly implies he wrote it!
And sandy, i think "mother" is bit redundant when writing "occupation of mother" on a BC
sandy...........housewife ?no once she gets her figure back she can '' cut some ribbons, and pull wee curtains, and maybe plant a tree, and wear nice dresses :)
Years ago a Registrar would have written out the Birth Certificate, if not in Copper Plate, then at least in very neat handwriting.

I know the certificate is readable but what a scrawl! I've seen shopping lists better written than this.
id say written by a left handed person.
I think that is journalist speak, Bednobs. Whenever I've filled in death certificates (same process) I've never actually filled them in, just given the details and then signed.
Oi - watch it Ann, I'm left handed!

I have to concentrate when writing neatly, but could still do better than the Registrar.
