You're welcome.
How did you do that shooty?
I'd be interested as well shooty.
I have completed the same crossword today. It has two sets of clues. I explain the cryptic to Tricia as to help her understand how to break the clues down. This is how i was taught by my brother some many moons ago. A nd i'm still learning today. : )
I thought it was from the Times 2 GK crossword on Saturday
Todays sun
OMG,
a S** reader.
Thanx shooty. But the 'Sun' !!!!
I don't read the papers. My parents buy this and i do the crossword. I buy the DM when i feel like it as it is now my prefferable choice of challange. Don't read that neither. Hopefully one day i shall be buying the times to challenge myself, but i'm not ready for that yet. And i won't read that either. hope this has cleared things up.....

You can tell he's not a Sun reader...
He can read!
Lol wyedeyed : ). Lets not forget this is Tricia's thread, and her choice of paper. Lets not put her off. : )
Humble apologies...

To be honest, I used to take the Sun in my teens because it had the two speed crossword, which is how I learned to do cryptics.
Exactly. This is why i post the cryptic answers in Tricia's threads to aid her at her own pace, so she will hopefully progress onto the ambrosia of crosswords.
: )
Sorry tricia, my mother reads the sun and believes every word in it! No point in arguing, apparently the mirror and guardian are not proper newspapers!
Well the Guardian certainly isn't.
