I have a pair of inherited gold cufflinks with the symbol of a rising phoenix, standing on a snake. Their is also a goblet. I understand that the rising phoenix denotes renewed power and strength, and the snake could show conquering adversity, but what could the goblet symbolise? Please help . Many thanks.

I doubt that you're going to get any better answers on here than you did on your previous question I would take them to an expert. They could be heraldic, mythical, company or club symbols etc.
