Hey
I am trying to organise a changeover of the internet to the new people moving into our house. If they want the internet contract but don't want the landline phone contract will it be possible for them to set up another landline for the same internet.

Thankyou.

I know its sounds unhelpful, but seriously, I'd leave them to do it. You need to cut off everything that was in your name and let them start again as, knowing these phone and internet providers of old, you'll never be rid of it if you try transfering some and not other bits of contracts.

Cancel your phone and internet contract and let them set up whatever they need with whoever they prefer. It would be much cleaner for both of you.

Yeah, that would be easier except the internet costs quite alot to buy out. I got the impression it was quite easy just to call up and change bank details and names etc. The phone and internet are with different providers if that makes any difference?
I'm with maidup. Cancel your phone etc and let the new people sort their own out
Can't you take it with you periwinkle? Phone up and change the address to your new one rather than cancel it?

Speak to the provider and see what they say, but I'd advise against transferring, especially if they need also to tranfer to a new landline.
