We all know how our boffins decoded German secret messages during the last war. But is there any evidence that our secret messages were intercepted and decoded by the Germans? And did we have any system like Enigma or Ultra to do the encoding? Or is this all still a secret?

Having watched a lot of programmes on the Yesterday channel, the Germans did intercept our messages regularly. As for the other stuff, I don't know!
I recommend you read "Between Silk and Cyanide" by Leo Marks. He worked in London for SOE during WWII and has a lot of info on the German successes in reading our agents' messages largely due to the amateur/outdated nature of the codes we used.
The germans got codes from SOE operators whom they captured and tortured.
