There's no schedule no 168 dotty
Question Author
mmmm strange, the filmed original summary book lists all the schedules (households) numerically and it's contemporary with the enumerators sheets. most odd.
the only 160's are 160, 161, and 162, and 163 is listed as Gooce Green Farm.
Would you be looking for this one?

LUCAS, William Head Widower M 46 1865 Coal Miner Hewer Lancs Liverpool
LUCAS, Mary Alice Daughter Single F 14 1897 Lancs Coppull
LUCAS, Elizabeth Daughter Single F 11 1900 School Lancs Coppull

They lived at Millston Plat Coppull
ooh good on you Rose....what is the schedule number?
The only other Lucas household that pops up is this one:

LUCAS, James Head Married M 63 1848 Colliery Dataller Wrightington Lancashire
LUCAS, Martha Wife Married
41 years F 60 1851 Heskin Lancashire

at address: John St Coppull Chorley
I think there's a bit obliterated. What is left looks like 168, but the 1 could be 7 or 9
The reference number given is: RG14PN25222 RG78PN1443 RD475 SD4 ED23 SN168
How did you find it?
Question Author
my daughter lives in John St Now! lol
Hi Craft, I searched on 'Lucas' in Coppull CP / Chorley RD / Lancashire in the Advanced Search screen.Only the 5 entries came up.
I've never tried the advanced search screen (didn't even know there was one)
Were you using the 1911 site as opposed to the FindMyPast one?
Question Author
I'm still not sure I;ve found the right Lucas I need, it's a John who was married in 1924, I thought he should have been one of the ones you found last time (see 2 threads down) but I've nothing to back it up, I'm going to have a look in Chorley Cemetary tomorrow as they are buried there (taking a xmas wreath to Danny's grave anyway) can't believe I;m struggling so much with this one which is so local to me!!! (I never usually buit certificates unless I am desperate lol)
I've looked at the previous and next images and the enumerator's numbers were consistent, so the schedule likely is 168 as stated. Sits between 167 and 169!

I use FindMyPast. You'll see if you click on 'Census' the default screen is the basic search. There is a tab at the top of the box which says Advanced. Click on it and you get, well, an advanced search box where you can choose what to search on.
Gotcha Rose....many thanks I didn't even know that facility existed.
Happy to help :)
Question Author
cheers BYW Rose,
Are you sorted on this one now, Dotty? I missed out on the previous thread at the time. Reading through, I think the John you've mentioned tonight is the one who was boarding with his brother James William and wife Daisy (Springate) in 1911.
Question Author
Yes Rose he could well be but I am still not absolutely convinced he is the one who married in 1924 as he is 18 in 1911 which puts him at about 30 when he married, unless he was conscripted in 1917/1918 of course and was sent to the reserve, no evidence at all yet as to the age of the one I need so will check the MIs at the cemetary.
