When this came on line I purchased the 'Household transcripts' at 10 credits each.
These remain in 'my records' and I can look at them as often as I desire.
I can update the records in order to view the 'original page' at a cost of 30 credits.
Doing it this way means that viewing the 'OP' will have cost me 40 credits whereas if I have had plumped for viewing the 'OP' in the first place it would have been 30 credits.

Or, am I missing something and my 10 credits will be taken into consideration meaning that I'll only be debited 20 additional credits making a total of 30 credits ?

The costs of looking at each OP will be £ 4.80 to me which is a little steep, I think...........

If you have the Find My Past package that includes 1911 it is all inclusive, I used the 1911 a year ago when they trialed it and paid to look at the OP but I can now only look at the household trasncripts for free cos as you say they stay on my profile page list o views 1911 transcripts and OPs. If I wanted to look at the OPs again i would have to pay the full 30 credits I paid last time, and so it would have cost me 60 credits in total.
As it is I don;t have FMP at the moment.
it's a gamble basically. go on a fishing trip for 10pts. or take the plunge, spend 30 and hope it's the right relative.
you're right about the prices, but it's a case of being careful I guess, and only go for the info you really need.
