Access to cencuses

I thought I could access the 1881 and 1901 censuses for free but the websites I have looked on seem to want me to sign up. I don't want to sign up at the moment. Is there anywhere I can get this information easily on line? Thanks

Go to

www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp

and click on 'censuses' tab for FREE 1881 census.

Unfortunately, 1901 census is only available if you sign up to a 'pay site'.

unless you have a loval Mormon family hsitory centre of course, you can access it free from there, ask at your local library.
