Help with a shout box

I am trying to add a 'shout box' (what an awful title) to my website I am using Serif Webplus 10 and i can follow the instructions on how to set up but I can't decide on a name. Can anyone suggest where I can find examples/suggestions. I have looked on Google and found various offers for free shoutboxes!. I want mine to replace a forum which I am not happy with and have tried others. their 'chat' seems to be a load of mispelt rubbish from youngsters I imagine. I am aiming at an older generation with discussion on aspects of the site which include old postcards, family/local history gardening etc.
I previously added a 'blog' (didn't like that name either but changed to diary) , relative has used journal, also acceptable. I'm sure ABers will have better ideas - thanks
