Have a lot of photos, at least 70 years old with varying styles of clothing. Would anyone know any websites which would help in identifying the correct decades using the particular fashion of the clothes, some are very distinctive. Also there are some chaps in uniform, presumably from the first world war, so may be able to find regiment from any badges etc. This may help match up the identities with the family tree. Many thanks.

For the uniforms, regimental badges etc, you could try posting the photos on www.rootschat.com

Doesn't cost anything to register and the folk are really friendly (they also enjoy a good challenge!)

Thanks very much to all who have answered, this will keep me busy this weekend.
You could try this link - put fashion into the search box - it is the costume collection at the Victoria & Albert Museum. If you hover over the pictures it tells you what year the item is from.
