I have a verruca on the inside of my second toe which has been there for about 3 years!! I have tried the usual bezuka gel, tried having it frozen off by my gp, went to a chiropodist a number of times who scraped it and put the acid stuff on it etc. The chiropodist said the actual verruca has gone now and all that is left is dry skin. So I was told to file it gently and put this special tea tree ointment on it. But it looks bigger to me! It hurts when i walk and it bleeds when i file it even though i only do it gently! Please can anyone help? I really want it gone for my holidays in a month!

I think , as usual, the answer must be for you to go back to your GP and get him to prescribe something effective. You mustn't file it if it bleeds as you will end up with an infected toe. The problem may be exacerbated by shoe pressure, in which case always wear some form of padding between the problem toe and its neighbour(a corn plaster comes to mind) and it might be worth asking your local chemist what they would recommend.
use scholl verucca pads, they work!
try putting abit of banana skin on it over night. sounds stupid but i read it somewhere and im sure thats what got rid of mine. its worth a try
