stuntman ignition on xbox 360

i recently got the game stuntman ignition on xbox and when it says to press the action button i press it and it does nothing and so it is really annoying does any1 have any suggestions on how to make it work

MIght sound stupid, but make sure you're pressing the right button and if you are, make sure that button is working - although I'd guess if it wasn't you'd know about it.

I had the game and from what I can remember, you had to press it at just the right time - get it wrong and you end up doing the stunt too early or late and miss your mark
