Does anyone know what the problem is with my Wii as I don't seem to be able to play my music on it? I have music in MP3 format on my SD card and have it inserted in the console, but nowhere can I find how to play them. The Wii menu gives SD card options in settings but don't recognise any tunes. I wanted them for Endless Ocean

you can only hear them in game, there is nowhere on the wii where you can just listen to them. the new photo channel uses aac encoded music, the origunal uses mp3.
you can listen to the tracks while watching a photo slide show.
playing endless ocean and listening to your own mp3's will be fine. you can choose your music whilst on your boat.
