Wii Vs XBOX 360

Hi

My sister in Law posed a question on me today, she needs to decide on whether to buy an Wii or XBOX 360 for her sons xmas present. I need to know which one has the most games for the 3+ range and more child friendly, me personally would say the Wii.

How old are they? I wouldn't recommend the XBox to for anybody under 13, it is aimed more at the late teen/adult market.

WoWo is bang on, the wii is great for all ages though but the xbox 360 is strictly more experienced gamer stuff.

We have both, daughter is 9 and wont touch the xbox 360 despite me buying the games she asks for.

The wii is better for younger children, its got games like mario, wii sports and wii play(wii sports comes with the wii and wii play comes with a nunchuk),

i think the xbox 360 is better but for a 6 year old definetly a wii because he will have more fun with it
