Two questions really, if you don't mind. Firstly, I've donated over 10,000 bells to the town of Boondox but haven't received any special item for it like I'm supposed to. Any ideas why?
Also, I play this game on my son's ds lite but he jumps backwards and forwards in time and leaves the town in a state, unlike his mummy who wants to keeps things all nice and pretty. To have my own town, can I buy just another copy of the game and play it on his console or do I need to buy my own?
Thank you! xxx

lol Clem im exactly the same my daughter keeps makin a right mess of the town! I spent a whole day just weeding when she found out she could time travel! I just thought i would comment on that i cant give you answers as i have had the same probs good luck!
Keep donating and you will eventually get something if you haven't already. I read it on some cheat wwebsite, I just got a DS Lite and ACWW last week, I'm progressing well, umm yeh you don't need to buy your own console but to have your own town I don't know if you can have multiple towns (profiles) on one game =S hope I helped probably not...

Thank you both for your answers. Very reassuring and helpful too! x
here's a great tip that you may have already figured out but made me feel pretty smart. Earn 1000 bells and them pu tit in the back at town hall. Change your ds date to year 2999 or however high it goes. When you restart the game it should say that you have earned 9999 bells. now set the date back. Once I had enough bells, i would set the date 10 years forward a bunch of times until i finally had enough to buy my mansion.
